The vishve amrtas (Sanskrit: विश्व अमृत literally: all-immortals, also known as amrta spands Sanskrit: अमृत स्पन्द, literally: "the immortal (who are) holy/bounteous/furthering") in Dharmic religions and the New Age movement (mainly Vedic Hinduism) is the generic term for all supernatural beings except for asuras and martayas (humans) as not all of them are immortal. They are also known as amesha spentas in the Avesta and ameshaspands in the Shahnameh.
