Tros was the king of Troy. His parents were Astyoche and Ericthonius. His children, by his wife Callihroe, were Ganymede, who was abducted by Zeus, Ilus, who succeeded him and Assaracus, who ruled Dardania as an independant kingdom. For the abduction of his son, Hermes gave the king two horses so swift they could run over water.
