Teryel is an ogress present in Kabyle Berber mythology. She can appear as a shaggy-haired woman or a beautiful young woman. She's known to devour animals and humans while practicing witchcraft. She gave birth to every ogres, one of them is the famous Waghzen that obey her orders.
