Telephassa (Τηλέφασσα, "She who is far-shining") was the wife of King Agenor of Phoenicia in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of the river-god Nilus or Chremetes, her husband being a descendant of the river-god Inachus, and had several children; Cadmus, Cilix, Europa, and Phoenix. Her sister; Achiroe, was married to Agenor's brother Belus.
After Zeus carried Europa away to the island of Crete, Telephassa accompanied Cadmus, Cilix and Phoenix on a quest to find her. They travelled to the islands of Rhodes and Thera before arriving in Thrace, where Telephassa fell ill and died. After she was buried, Cadmus continued to found the city of Thebes, Cilix became king of Cilicia and Phoenix returned home to succeed his father.
