Seshat, also Safkhet, was the goddess of astronomy, architecture, scribes and writing. She is the female counterpart of Djehuti, sometimes depicted as his wife or daughter. She is often depicted in leopard skin and inscribing the years of a Pharaoh's rule on a palm rib with a stylus.
