Sabaoth in some Gnostic writings is one of many archons of Yaldabaoth, he is the opposite of the demiurge, Sabaoth both in Hypostasis of the Archons and On the Origin of the World he dethrones his father Ialdabaoth, when he heard the voice of Sophia, Sabaoth condemns his father and his mother (matter), after Sabaoth was sent to the seven heaven by Sophia.
