Praxidike was, in Greek mythology, the goddess and personification of judicial punishment and the application of justice. She was the wife of Soter, the god and personification of safety. Her daughters were Ktesios (household duties), Homonoia (unanimity) and Arete (moral virtue). Homonoia and Arete made up the "Praxidikai" or "Exacters of Justice". She was closely associated with the goddess/personification of the concept of justice; Dike, as well as Persephone.
