Nyyrikki, also known as Nyrkes, was the Finnish god of the hunt, who was a child of Tapio and Mielikki. He is mentioned few times in the Kalevala, and like most pagan deities, was demonised by Christianity when it arrived in Finland.
He has been has been tenuously associated with the biblical figure of Nimrod and the famous Saint George.
