In the Eastern Orthodox, Mary is not identified with the sinful woman, in fact Magdalene is a symbol of a virtuous woman her entire life, even before her conversion. She is also a woman that is equalt to Apostols, besides in the Eastern Folk mary is associated with the Egg Red and by extention with the new life, so the Paschal eggs are releantoship with the Jesus´s resuration.
Even Mary had her own festival, being the Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene, celebred in every 22 of July, and ones´s Jesus honnor in the Eastern folklore.

For the Baháʼí Faith Mary Magdalene is so far the woman with more references, even exalted as "the heroine of faith" and "archetypal woman of all cycles", so besides `Abdu'l-Bahá, the son of the founder of the religion affirm that "the channel of confirmation" to Jesus's disciples, a "heroine" who "re-established the faith of the apostles" and was "a light of nearness in his kingdom".
In the Bahá cosmology Mary Magdalene is identified with the Babi Poet-Heroine Táhirih. The latter is considered as the spiritual return of Magdalene.
