Kali is the Hindu goddess of purification, destruction, time, and change. She is usually depicted as an embodiment of destruction and is a form of the goddess Parvati. As the Destructrix she is one third of the Tridevi, along with Brahmi the Creatrix and Laxmi the Preservatrix.
