Járnviðr, anglicised to Jarnvidr or Jarnvid, was the name of a forest east of Miðgarðr. It was inhabited by a troll woman who raised Fenrir's children (Hati and Sköll). The woman may or may not be the same as Angrboða, Fenrir's mother.
