Inachus (Ancient Greek: Ἴναχος) was, in Greek mythology, after whom the Inachus River is named after. He was one of the river gods and had many children; the most notable being his son Phoroneus, the first king and founder of the city of Argos, and daughter, Io. He is the husband of the nymph Melia.
