Iði was a giant and son of Alvaldi in Norse mythology. His brothers were Gangr and Þjazi. His only niece was Skaði, Þjazi's daughter. When his father, who was very rich, died, the three brothers split up their enormous inheritance by claiming one mouthful of gold each.
