Hathor is the Egyptian goddess of love, fertility, women, sky, music, and dance. Hathor is the daughter of Ra. Her husband was Horus. She was mother to Ihy, the god of music and musicians.
Mythology[]
Sometimes referred to as the mistress of turquoise she was mainly worshipped in Dendara & Thebes. She sometimes appears in the form of a cow with the sun disc between her horns and at other times shown as a beautiful woman bearing the same sun disc & horns. Hathor's sacred animals are the cow, lioness, and snake.
it's said her beauty could only be compared to the first dawn and the bright cherished light it brought to the world.
