In Hawaiian mythology, Haikili is the god of thunder. Hekili was known for his wisdom which sparked jealousy from his fellow gods. The gods tricked him into believing his son, Kali, had been killed.

Later, after being contacted by his son, Haikili retrieved Kali from the rival gods. Reunited with his son, Haikili celebrates by creating beauty in the world: trees and greenery, fish and wildlife, clouds and weather. Additionally, he built a volcano in honor of his wife.

Haikili is often shown living in the clouds and has a body of sorts made from various elements of weather.
