The epimelides (also known as meliads, meliades, pastoral nymphs, bucolae, boukolai, bucolic nymphs or rustic nymphs often mispelled as epimeliads) are meadowy nymphs and protectors of sheeps or apple trees.
They are not defined class of nymphs and contain other types of nymphs as members (for example, Oceanids, oreads and even haliae like Psamathe and Galatea).
