Eledá are the ultraterrestrial beings who act as protector and spiritual guide of Candomblé teachers, often assimilated, in Brazil, to the owner of the head (Olori) and the protector (Elemi), and syncretized with the Christian guardian angel.
Legend[]
Eledá are considered a deified ancestor who had a significant life before their death and for this relevance they passed to the state of Orisha. They serve to control and guide the desires of our Ori (head, our spiritual or inner thoughts).
These deified ancestors also consider behavioral models that we use as a stereotype reference to improve human quality, following their patterns of behavior and trying to incorporate into our lives, good works, which pay the community's transcendental good tax.
