
Elas Molan (Tifinagh: ⴻⵍⴰⵙ ⵎoⵍⴰⵏ) is a giant primate of Tuareg Berber mythology believed to be the guardian of Tafédek, a hot water spring in Niger.
This primate has reddish fur that no weapons can penetrate. He is known to be a protector of children. Elas Molan is believed to have been a human that was transformed into an animal.[1]
