Dzoavits is a demonic ogre from Shoshone Native American mythology. The creature is known for stealing the sun and kidnapping children it is also known for cannibalism and becoming an enemy to the animals of nature. Although not much is known about Dzoavits the demon ogre what is known is that he stole doves eggs that had her children inside them. So dove, eagle and crane went after him and took the eggs back Dzoavits decided to chase them down and take back what he stole. The three hid in a hole the ogre would have found them if badger didn't help he used tricky to fool the demon and to keep the other animals safe. He made Dzoavits believe that dove was in the hole that he lead the ogre to he jumped in then the animals quickly covered the hole with huge rocks to trap him. The plan worked Dzoavits become sealed in the hole known as devils hole. The plan was to trap ogre demon demon forever it is unknown him he is still trapped or if he escaped. After that Dzoavits is never heard from or seen again and that is the only myth about the ogre.
