The God of Abraham is the deity worshiped by the Hebrew patriarch Abraham. This deity is worshiped, under various names and titles, by what are called The Three Great Abrahamic Faiths. These are:

Judaism[]

A religion that is also an ethnicity. The Jewish people claim direct descent from Abraham through his son Issac, and have inherited the believe in Abraham's God.

Christianity[]

A religion that began as an offshoot of Judaism. The central belief in Christianity is to follow the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Christianity is universalist religion, where people of any nationality can join the family of Abraham by believing in Jesus' teachings. Within Christianity the God of Abraham is considered to be a single god, but comprised of three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

Islam[]

A religion founded in ancient Arabia by the Prophet Mohammed. The Arabian people are said to be descended from Abraham through his son Ishmael. According to tradition the Prophet Mohammed was the direct descendant of Ishmael.
