Daemons of love and sex in Greek mythology. Also referred to as "Cupidines", "Cupids", and "Amores" in Roman mythology.
There are commonly considered to be seven members:
- Eros/Cupid
- Anteros/Anterus
- Hedylogus
- Hermaphroditus/Atlantius
- Himeros/Himerus
- Hymenaeus/Hymen
- Pothos/Pothus
Plato added the primordial version of Cupid who was known as Eros/Amor or Phanes.
