Ash is a Berber and Egyptian god of oases, deserts and Libya. He was often depicted falcon-headed or with the head of Set, a figure whose prominence eventually overshadowed Ash, who faded into obscurity.
He was also believed to be the original chief deity of Naqada (known as Ombos in Greek).
