Arnakuagsak is the Greenlander version of the sea goddess Sedna in Inuit mythology. Arnakuagsak translates to "old woman from the sea". She was worshipped primarily in Greenland, but was essentially equivalent to the Canadian Sedna or Arnapkapfaaluk and the Alaskan Nerrivik. She is also a goddess of seafood and marine life.
