Allah (Arabic: الله "Ałłāh") is God in Abrahamic religions, especially Islam. It is unknown if Allah is a name or a title in canon sources, but Jews and Sufis tend to treat Yahweh as his name; unlike Arab Christians and Sunni Muslims who tend to call him Allah (even when they speak other languages).
Equivalents[]
In Islam, Allah has no equivalent but a different name in every culture (Yahweh in Ancient Israel, Anu in Sumer, Ilu in Akkad, El in Canaan), but in pre-Islamic paganism, He is the God of the Sky; although He is omnipotent in paganism as well, at least comparable, because there are many deities in the Arabian pantheon. (and He was identified with some of them.)
In the pre-Islamic paganism[]
Allah is not a lunar deity as many people think; instead He is either the male aspect, the father or a husband of al-Lat a Goddess-Queen from the pre-Islamic religion.
Due to being a title which is used for multiple deities and a Supreme Omnipotent Being; there is no specific statue for Allah.
