In Greek mythology, Adrasteia is the goddess of inevitable fate, and is one of the 3,000 Oceanids, daughters of Oceanus and Tethys. She was also a mountain goddess. She is associated with Artemis, Cybele and Nemesis. She was also one of the nymphs who nursed the infant Zeus in secret.

Adrasteia was charged with the duty to nurse Zeus, along with the Curetes and her sister Ida. Adrasteia gave Zeus a magical toy ball to play with, which was later used by Aphrodite to bribe Eros.
