Abarth (Ábartach, Ábhartach - the one who creates deeds ) - in Irish mythology, a god from the tribe of the goddess Danu.

One day, Abarth, disguised as a man in search of work, appears in the camp of Finn McCullough, the leader of Phenicia . The latter takes Abarth to his service and gives him the nickname " lazy servant " (Gialla Deacair). In turn, as a sign of affection, Abarth gives the wife of Irish soldiers capricious gray horse. But after fourteen warriors and Abarth saddle the animal, the horse moves and gallops the riders to the afterlife. In this way, Abarth carries out his original plan.

With the help of the best Irish tracker named Foltor, Finn manages to get to the afterlife and free his soldiers from captivity.
