A'akuluujjusi is the goddess of creation in Inuit mythology. She is the creator mother and a primordial goddess. It is said that she created land animals by throwing her clothes on the earth. Initially, the animals created were full of errors and imperfect. For example, caribous had fierce walrus tusks and walrus had antlers. Eventually, she fixed these mistakes and made the more appealing versions of animals we see today.
